With all of the mixed reviews on these tights, I was hesitant to order them. However, the price couldn't be beaten, so I decided to take a chance on them. The start, they were thinner than I expected them to be. I was actually pleased to see this, as I needed a thinner pair of tights for the summer. When I put them on, I was disappointed to see that the legs were extremely long. The description said that the medium offered a 28" inseam; I'd love to know how true that is because I measured the inseam on the size large pair I ordered, and it was 33"! So, there is a lot of gathering of extra leg length at my ankles. It makes the pants look a bit funny, but it's not stopping me from wearing them. The leg opening on the bottom are extremely tight; I had to sit down to put these babies on so that I had enough balance to tug them over my feet and ankles. I do however appreciate the rubber grips on the bottom of the leg opening; they prevented the pants riding up while I ran. I experience no chaffing with these, and I find them adequately breathable. The fit around my bum, waist, and hips is perfect; I actually had to tie to drawstring pretty tight to get them to stay where they should. These are not my favorite pair of tights, but were surely worth the money. I ended up buying a second pair because you just can't beat the price!Love these. Ran in some cold temps this yr and these are my go to tights. I bought 2 pair and glad I did. Ran in 10 degrees the other night and I just wore both pair. They are soft and not any heavier than other tights but they block the wind better and the material just feels cozier than my other tights. I run rugged trails and have went thru creeks, brush and a picked cornfield one day. I haven't noticed any snags or rips yet. Seem pretty durable.I hate tight stuff around my stomach and these are really nice. I am new to running ( about 6 months in) and got a lil meat on me still. I bought the large and they are very comfy. come up higher so I don't ever have to pull them up and if I sit them lower on my hips the stay there. never have to adjust these tights. legs stay put, no sagging crotch and no riding up. They are not compression but they have not lost their shape. I have dried them in drier and they have not changed but I have recently went to hang dry so maybe they will last me longer. I love themI live in Georgia, so generally I run in pretty mild winter weather. These pants are thinner and don't hold heat as well as some of my other tights do, but I'm perfectly fine with that. They hold enough warmth but not too much. They also have a silicone lining on the ends of pants which hold them in place which I like. However I have to wear the left side a little higher than the right because I have a constantly swollen ankle that will get the circulation cut off if I wear the pants too low.I took one star off because apparently being 5'10" is not quite tall enough to wear tall pants. However I have a fairly proportionate body, if not a slightly long torso, so I can't be terribly offended.TALL TIGHTS, finally! These tights are actually long enough!! I am 6'1" and all leg, and trust me I am overjoyed to have tights that come all the way down to my ankles! Fantastic length! They are very average in all other concerns. The material is a little on the thin side, so we'll see how they hold up to the winter and the wash. Four stars since they are thin and also the opening at the feet has a very firm 1" wide rubber no slip collar that is hard to get over your feet (and I have narrow feet) It's not impossible to get on, just takes a little wiggling. But serious, I'm so thrilled with the length!!!These tights were a little thinner than I was anticipating but they work well for crossfit workouts. I am 5'5", 118lbs, athletic build. I ordered a small. If I had ordered a size down they would definitely be transparent but wearing dark undergarments helps. These pants do have a rubber like substance around the inside of the ankle. I realize that is to help the pant leg not rise up during workouts but it is a bit uncomfortable. I simply roll the pant leg up and the rubber doesn't bother me. These aren't my favorite workout pants but for the price I still wear them. They don't stretch out and they stay in place during workouts. So far I have worn these half a dozen times or more. When I initially got them the fabric seemed so thin I thought there was no way they would hold up to any sort of cold weather. I had read similar thoughts in other reviewers who ended up liking them so I kept an open mind. I have worn these in 25-45 degree weather with varying amounts of wind and they have done a good job of keeping me warm. The last run was my coldest-25 degrees with 10mph wind. My legs were slightly chilly but I never thought about them at all during the run (meaning the tights did their job) and only felt the cold when I was walking during my cool down. I'm not sure they would keep me warm if the weather dropped below 20 degrees but I suppose that is to be expected and would require a special tight for such cold weather. For the price these were an awesome investment.I'm 5'3" 125" wear size XS or S. Bought these in a S - the legs were too long, a tad baggy for tights, but the weirdest part was the rise, which I found to be very low. I do have long legs/longer rise fyi. They'd be ok, but I hate running in awkward pants, so returning. If you like low rise and are taller, I'm sure these would be great for you! These leggings are nice but they are a little longer than I'd expected. I'm 5'5" and usually I order pants in petite sizes but, since that's obviously not an option with leggings, I will get over it. Overall they are decent and will serve as a reminder for you to head to the gym if you aren't in the proper shape for them to flatter your body type--I guess the truth can hurt. No more excuses for me;-)
