I purchased the same compression tights a couple of years ago in black during a lightning deal and they have held up really well. Despite the fit being quite tight, which is necessary for the full effect, I was sure I was going to poke a hole through the fabric somewhere down the line, but after multiple washes and lots of running miles in them, zero issues (hope I'm not jinxing myself here). So, I bit the bullet and bought another pair in the This Way Up pattern (only after buying other brands' cheaper compression tights and being sorely disappointed). They're definitely expensive, especially without a lightning deal, but I've found the compression claims to be true (though I learned there's really no such thing as "low-priced" for compression tights) and beneficial in keeping me running longer and legs less fatigued afterwards. The tights are pretty sweat-resistant and don't carry an odor after I've been running up a sweat. The material is on the sheer side, though, and the black pair that I own stretches thin around my butt, so underwear is quite see through. With the This Way Up pattern, however, it's not as noticeable since it's quite colorfully patterned. However, with the sheerer material, I'm able to wear these running in warmer weather (in SoCal) with being too uncomfortable, which is ideal for me since my lower legs get fatigued and capris wouldn't be useful. That being said, these are definitely not for colder weather, as the slightest cold breeze can be felt.If I could (afford it), I'd own 10 pairs of these and wear them every time I ran, but for know, I just hope they'll have a clearance sale (or at least another lightning deal).Long time skins fan here. The new updates to the A200 waist band is amazing! They finally got it right. I feel like it wont fold or bend over; yes! Love the feel of the waist band on my skin. I like that it is super elasticy, but sturdy, and also has a draw cord. Love the new seaming as well throughout the entire pant. Comparing these to my old A200's that are at least 2 years old. They fit perfectly. I know they will last a long time and holds me in good. Great compression, makes you look sleek and slim, quality fabric used too (not too thick & not too thin) buy these people! The legs/knee area doesn't slide down like my older A400's either. Only thing I didn't like was the long tag in the back. I will be cutting it off very carefully. Other than that A++ on these. For ref... I am about 5ft 5inches and fluctuate from 133-140lbs with an athletic muscular build (I have thunder thighs & proud of them). I got size small. They fit snug the 1st couple of wears but loosen and conform to your body after awhile. Can't wait to go heavy on leg day with these babies on. Will def be ordering the other colorways, capris and shorts. This might be the best purchase I've ever made on Amazon.I'm 5'6'' 110lbs and bought an XS. They fit perfectly.I had also bought the SKINS Women's Ry400 Recovery Long Tights.I prefer these tights because:(1) solid black - the 400's are different material shades of black, I think these look sleeker(2) more compression than 400's(3) warmer for mild temperature drops, without being hot--I've worn them anywhere from 50 degree - 75 degree weather and been comfortableI broke my back in college and am now in my late 20s. I still have residual nerve and muscle pain from it. My calves get very sore and no amount of stretching would make the tenderness go away. I wore these pants for 2 days (they're even comfortable enough to sleep in) and my calf pain is completely gone! I am in love.I had hip replacement surgery a little over two weeks ago. I had a lot of swelling, and the light compression socks weren't helping. The heavy white stockings were too hard to put on and had a nasty habit of rolling down my thighs. I got home from post-surgical rehab yesterday and ordered these. And stockings did nothing for the area around my hips. Compression tights seemed like they might be perfect. These came this afternoon, thanks to Amazon Prime, and I put them on right away. Admittedly, getting them on with my hip precautions took a bit of ingenuity and wiggling! I am so much more comfortable now, and I think the swelling is finally going down. I'm even moving more easily.I will likely never use these for running. I wasn't a runner before and running is contraindicated after hip replacement (all pounding exercise is). If the only thing I use them for is this, they will have been worth the money. It's like but not love with these Compression tights. I had the thermal version in this brand and loved them, and so was disappointed in these mostly because they did not pass the bend over test. I know some people don't take issue with showing all the goods while working out, but I'm not one of those people. I like the compression for the legs but hate that I have to layer over the rear to feel modest. I'll buy the thermal next time for all year round since my runs are usually on the chilly side in the mountains anyway.Fab for the spring weather. Have worn them 10 times since I received a couple weeks ago. Great, comfortable, clear, colorfast colors. Incredibly lightweight and thin without being flimsy. Seams have held up fine to 4 hours+ running and sweat a week. Really cool looking and SLIMMING the way the white morphs into the grey and black at the thighs. Wore my through the office yesterday and people wanted to know where I got them. AMAZON, I said. Certain at least two people hit the web that night. Will try to find more tights this chic after I finish writing this.I have been wearing my skins in-between wearing my Karrimor tights and I must say that I think that they are the 'Bee's Knees." For one thing they only cost me £20 (unfortunately the price shot up shortly after I purchased them; I would have bought more otherwise:() I love my Karrimor's but these 'Skins' are quite unique when it comes to keeping you 'cool' and at a constant and even temperature. I wouldn't have a clue about if and how well the 'compression' aspect of them was working but I have sustained no injuries and suffer little strains or pains these days so maybe they are helping. They 'wick' moisture as in sweat, from your skin. no doubt but if it rains you will get wet so don't expect miracles!!Bought these and the Capri version at the same time, not sure if either are the genuine article.....although sent through Amazon. I previously bought the thermal lined version of the same thing, which were brilliant, very well finished, and the size medium fitted me fine - these on the other hand are very snug, very low in the waist, the skins label was peeling before I even wore them, and some of the stitching is coming undone after two washes. (I am following the care instructions to the letter) For an expensive pair of leggings, I would expect a much better quality product. They are ok, and do offer compression, but on the small side, and not well finished......all leading me to believe these particular ones may be counterfeitFantastic compression tights. Bought these for long distance flights and although I usually change on board, these are stylish enough to wear on and off the plane if I'm in a hurry or throw on under trackies.Like them so much I've been using them as gym pants as well and have seen much better results in my running since wearing them. As someone with poor leg circulation, these have made a real difference and I'll continue to use them for both activities. Take of the seams when taking them on and off - they are thin compression tights and not jeans! - and they will last really well. No complaints here and fast delivery. Key pocket in the waistband.I have now purchased three pairs of Skins. They are brilliant - tight, supportive, wobble reducing! I had to purchase an extra pair (one to wear, one to wash) and also a pair for a friend. Check the Skins website for size chart. I am 5'6 and approx 60kg (size 10) and I wear a small - they fit perfectly. My skins are not the thermal ones but I find them warm enough. One word of warning - do not wash them with anything that has velcro on - I washed with my sons football sock straps and they did get stuck - luckily I was able to remove them very carefully without snagging.Have been a fan of Skins for years, and these leggings are great. I don't know how much of it is psychological, but I really feel a difference, and muscles do not feel as susceptible to cramp after a workout on a cold day. Only 4 stars as, unlike some other Skins leggings I have had, these are slightly see-through when stretched over the thighs/bum. Not ideal. Also, make sure to use the sizing chart on their website when ordering, rather than going for your "usual" size as they base it off height/weight and it's a reliable system.
