I'm a weight lifter, so running has never been a priority for me. I used to run 45 min to 1hr, 2 or 3 times a week, years ago. I had to stopped because my IT Band started to hurt a lot after 20 minutes of running, or whenever I going down when hiking. After medical insoles failed to solve the problem, I just stopped running altogether. Lately, I've been feeling the itch, and decided to take it up again and see what's up. I changed my shoes for neutrals, and bought these upon my PT's advice. I figured I could use them in the gym anyway so the money wouldn't be wasted if they didn't work.I went for a couple of 20/30 minutes jogs since I got them (and the shoes). For the first time in forever, my legs felt great, my knees didn't protest (I have quite a heavy gait, so my knees usually feel extra tired after a jog). No heavy leg, amazing stability, and I wasn't as sore as I feared I would be.Today I wore them all day at home to help with any soreness I had from the runs and my workouts. They're amazingly comfortable.As for size, I was a bit afraid they would not fit me, as I'm tall (5'11", 155lbs, lean enough but with muscular tights and butt), but they do. They sure don't go to mid calf as shown in the picture, they stop an inch below my knees, but I can fit my knees where they're supposed to, although the thights feel a bit... stretched. The only thing is that I wish the waist was lower, and that there was a tad more length for the butt (but I aknowledge my butt is bigger than most women's, especially runners). I got the Medium.One start removed for the colored stitching. I'd rather they were al black, and they need more color choices.
