These look and feel more like elastic-waist slacks. They are looser than the photo implies but I do actually like them. I bought them to be 'lounging around the house' pants but now they are just 'going out' slacks instead. They aren't super comfortable but they aren't irritating either.These pants are made very well, and are extremely soft. Some reviews said these run a bit small, but I don't agree. They fit exactly as they should, and I had no problems with them shrinking at all. Highly recommended.These are really comfortable and a lot of stretch. I just find they run a little on the small side in the crotch area. It kind of fits like low rise, on me any way.I ordered a two X( my normal size), and it was to small, so I ordered a five X and its a bit to large. I really like the quality, and style of the pantsThese pants are very, very comfortable. I bought them to wear under tunics. I heeded the advice of other reviewers and sized up, and this seems to have been a good idea, although they haven't yet been through the wash. They do loosen up a bit with wearing.Pants fits very well. The waist is a little loose but its not that bad and this is a problem I have with almost every pants I buy. Overall I am very pleased.These are great to use instead of leggings or a longer top. I would of given 5 stars but they shrunk after the first wash.These pants fit true to size and are very comfortable. I'm a teacher, and I can wear these to work and be comfortable and stylish all day. I would definitely recommend these pants.
