I had previously purchased the XLarge per the size guidelines, though I usually wear Large in Pearl Izumi shorts. Since those were every so slightly large, I thought my second pair I should try a Large. Slghtly snug as expected, but I expect to lose weight where needed in the next few months where they should be perfect. Both this pair and the XL: my first foray into getting bibs, and I gotta say, I'll never go back to just shorts/pants. Getting rid of the tightness and bunching in the waist has been a godsend, especially with my gut larger than it should be. One of the reasons I never got bibs before is I was afraid my overweight midsection and torso would be a problem (my legs are not as fatty as my torso). But it wasn't a problem at all.The multi-panel construction is unobtrusive, comfortable, and ventilated and supportive in just the right spots. I went with the 3/4 length so I didn't have to suntan lotion so much every day (I sunburn easily) on my commute. I ride home during the highest UV index, and my exposed ankles give me some ventilation and apparently don't get much if any sun (no tan or sunburn). For commuting 45 minutes to work, these have been wonderfully comfortable (s-pedelec ebike) and the padding is not obtrusive when riding for 2-3 hours recreationally (recumbent trike).I am an avid rider; I mountain bike and ride gravels (somewhat equivalent to cycle cross). I have purchased, and still have and enjoy many of Peal Izumi's products! These bibs are all in line with PI's quality fabrics and durability. I have some bib shorts end they are very comfortable, however, the part that goes past the knee and upper calf bags a bit, an slips upward during riding.... I typically wear a medium, however, tried a small, which fit perfect around the upper calf, however the waste area was a bit too snug, so I settled for the mediums. I am not really at all satisfied with these bibs. I have a few other pair of 3/4 tights and do not have the issue I have with these PI's.Loved these but they were too large in the waste for me. I am a woman who cannot find a pair of knickers that are large in the buttox but small in the waist so I figured I would try a men's size? I had to send them back bc an XL butt also means an XL waist....They did not work for me but I liked them. The quality was very nice, I could see them lasting for a long time. The stitching on the legs was amazing. The mesh top was nice and cool.Too bad the waist was so large or I would have kept them. These are ok. The chamois is good as is the overall fit. Don't know about the fabric. Suppose to keep you cooler....I didn't experience that. Fabric seems thicker to me. Don't care for the thickness/bulge of the leg bands. Prefer the newer style of compression bands that most manufacturers are using. Top strap portion is comfortable. For the money, these are ok. I probably won't buy any In-R-Cool PI products again.I owned a PI bib short but this is my first 3/4 length bib tights. It is as comfortable as my first PI bib short. With its added length to cover your knee, it really helps to prevent cold breeze against your knee. With its nylon fabric, the compression fits me well for XL. The chamois also thick enough which last my ride for continuous 4 hours with no pain on the butt. I will definitely go for another one.It is perfect for morning rides in the front range, keeps the knees warm. The shamy is about medium thickness, pretty comfortable without being bulky. Well made. The fabric in between the crotch and the belly button area is extensive, and I image peeing would be pretty difficult for somebody with a gut, or if the sizing it on a smaller side. And yes, I ordered the medium, but returned it for a large.A very nice euro snug fit, I'm 5'9" and 150. Very comfortable for long rides Fit and fabric feels similar to their regular elite bib shorts (fall 2013 model with white bib top). Great for weather in the lower 40s to upper 50s knee warmer temps). These 3/4 tights are perfect. I rode in the five boro bike tour (40 miles) with them and I was very comfortable. They also helped keep me cool as stated. I was not even sore the next day. The padding is great.Beim nächsten mal klappt es bestimmt, wenn der entsprechende Zusatz "normale Größe " vermerkt ist! Ansonsten ist alles Gut/Qualität ist in Ordnung!!!
